All parts wet by the liquid pumped are chemically resistant to the maximum degree;
the polymer deployed in the standard version of the pump casing and impeller are:
Pure thermoplastic Polypropylene (PP U.V. stabilized);
Pure polymer fluorinated Etylene-chloro trifluoro etylene free from any additive.
SEALESS MAGNETIC DRIVE OR DIRECT DRIVE PUMPS
Frontiera are centrifugal pumps actuated by electric motor. The impeller rotates inside the casing of the pump either by direct mechanic transmission (Mechanical sealed models ZGF, ZMF) or by magnetic drive (Seal less models TGF and TMF).
SEALESS MAGNETIC DRIVE
The impeller of the magnetic drive pumps TGF (long coupled)and TMF (short coupled) has a crown of permanent magnets embedded and is free to rotate around static supports located inside of the liquid proof casing .
Equal number of mentioned magnets is assembled into a magnetic drive drum keyed to the electric motor.
As motor rotates, the rotary magnetic field generated by the magnetic drive drum drags along the impeller whose permanent magnets are cross linked to the magnetic drive drum. The casing of the pump is liquid proof and sealed only with static seals (OR type).
SEALED PUMP DIRECT DRIVE
The impeller of the mechanical drive pumps ZGF (long coupled) and ZMF (short coupled ) is keyed on the transmission shaft assembled to the shaft of the electric motor ; liquid losses from casing to electric motor are prevented by sliding seals (mechanical seals) made of adequate materials.
INNOVATIVE EXTERNAL STAINLESS STEEL SHEETING ARMOUR
The technical solution proposed by Argal persecutes a balanced mix of features.
Monolithic, flouro polymer, injection molded casing of medium thickness ( 8- 10 mm ), deeply reinforced with structural ribs addresses with adequate thickness and stiffness of the parts wetted by the aggressive liquids pumped, the demanding operational conditions chemical pumps are usually subjected to.
Optional stainless steel made external armor resists to corrosive atmospheres and spills of corrosive chemicals in correspondence of the hydraulic connections better than similar cast iron made protections would.
Ground supports of the pump are made in AISI 304 and offer long term reliable support to the anchor bolts of the foundation.
In the “Integral” pump ( A classic pump made of thermoplastic maerial) stainless steel replaces the traditional plastic flanges and the special design of the fastening fittings minimizes the mechanical load exerted on the volute casing by the piping of the plant.
In the “Armored” pup series the surpassed cast iron amour of competitors, which deteriorates within a short period of use, is repaaced with a long lasting stainless steel sheeting. The armor which is not drawn but cold folded with tools of radius appropriate to the thickness, supports the loads on the inlet/outlet fittings and protects the volute casing from liquid hammers and accidental impacts.
Bases constructed either be painted steel structural section ìor stainless steel.
Circular section safety guard protect the flexible joint and is made of stainless steel sheeting.
